What there is to delete
- On your TV: your line login, settings, favorites, viewing history and saved catalogues. The privacy policy lists them for each TV.
- On lumanest.tv: pairing records only, which delete themselves: as soon as your TV collects its login or, once the code has expired, the next time any TV starts pairing. You don’t need to ask.
- Your LumaNest TV account: Tuner has no account of its own. Your customer account and subscription records are held by LumaNest TV; ask us to delete them.
Uninstalling Tuner, or clearing its data, removes everything Tuner saved on that TV. You can pair again at any time: your line login stays available in your customer hub.
Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV
In Tuner
- To remove a playlist from Tuner: open Settings, choose the playlist under Playlists, then choose Delete.
- To remove saved catalogues and guide listings: open Settings and choose Clear cached data.
Deleting a playlist doesn’t remove the favorites, viewing history and Continue Watching that Tuner kept for it. Continue Watching includes stream addresses that contain your login. To remove all of these, clear Tuner’s data as described below.
Remove everything
Clearing the app’s data, or uninstalling it, removes your logins, settings, favorites, history and all saved files.
- Google TV and Android TV: open the TV’s Settings, then Apps (you may need See all apps), choose Tuner, then Clear data or Uninstall.
- Fire TV: open Settings, then Applications, then Manage Installed Applications, choose Tuner, then Clear data or Uninstall.
Menu names vary a little by device and software version.
Samsung TV
Saving a different playlist in Tuner’s Settings replaces the saved one. To remove everything Tuner saved, delete the app from the TV; deleting it removes its data. On most models: open Apps, select the Settings (gear) icon, choose Tuner and select Delete. On some newer models, the option is under Settings, Support, Device Care, Manage Storage.
LG TV
Saving a different playlist in Tuner’s Settings replaces the saved one. To remove everything Tuner saved, delete the app from the TV; deleting it removes its data. On most webOS versions: press Home, highlight Tuner, press and hold OK (or choose Edit), then select Delete.
Roku
- To remove the saved login: in Tuner, open Settings and choose Pair again.
- To remove everything: on the Roku home screen, highlight Tuner by LumaNest TV, press the * (Options) button and choose Remove. Roku deletes an app’s saved data when the app is removed.
Apple TV
The Apple TV version isn’t released yet. This page will cover it when it is.
Your LumaNest TV account data
To ask LumaNest TV to delete your customer account data, such as your email address and order records:
- Email support@lumanest.tv from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Include your line username so we can find your records. Don’t send your password.
We may ask you to confirm the request comes from you. We’ll tell you by email what will be deleted, and anything we have to keep, such as payment records the law requires us to retain. The LumaNest TV privacy policy describes the account data we hold.
